THIS ROAD CALLED LIFE
(Code: VT-0008)

This road called life
Is a long and bumpy one
Sometimes it’s covered with gold-dust
That shimmers in the sun

Sometimes it’s covered with slimy mud
That makes you slip and fall
Sometimes it’s just an empty road
With nothing there at all

At times the road is just a line
That stretches on and on
And you wonder what’s out there
As you cautiously tread along

At other times it bends and twists
And you wonder where to turn
You wonder if you’ve made a bad choice
You’ll be able to return

Sometimes the road starts going uphill
And you feel you need a break
Coz’ you’re out of breath, you’re simply plodding
You’re struggling to get ahead

At other times the road starts dipping
And you totally lose control
You’re not quite sure what’s happening
As down that slope you roll

However you move on this road called life
Whatever you choose to do
To stroll, to skip, to run, to sprint
Is really up to you

The one sure thing that’s beyond control
Is onwards and forward you must
Coz’ there’s no way off this mysterious road
Until you reach your home at last
