Old Souls
OLD SOULS
(Code: VO-0001)

They knelt down on the grassy bank
Of the gently flowing stream
Staring at each other in a loving way
And remembering… forgotten dreams

Their hands reached out to touch and lock
Stirring up a puff of breeze
And then they closed their tear-filled eyes…
Embraced themselves in a tender kiss

Bathed in moonbeams, their air-filled forms
Mingled into a hazy one
Then slowly, so slowly… like autumn leaves falling
The ghostly figures swayed down

Till the old souls blended with the silvery waters
Sliding off the stretch of grass
Leaving in the moonlight...
Two masses of whitish dust…
